PV Cleaning Robots

Every photovoltaic cleaning robot in the SiRay range on one page - one autonomous machine that runs and charges itself, and four remote-operated machines that one person drives. Compare cleaning efficiency, total weight, tilt capability and brush count.

How Each PV Cleaning Robot Differs

Five machines, one cleaning philosophy: a roller brush that lifts the deposit, water where the plant allows it, and anti-fall protection that stops the machine at the edge of a row instead of off it.

Photovoltaic Cleaning Robots Compared

Five photovoltaic cleaning robots, one platform. All of them clear dust, oil stains and bird droppings with a roller brush, all of them are IP65, and all of them carry a one-year warranty and a six-year design service life. The choice is really three questions: who drives, how steep is the array, and how wide is one row?

Solar Panel Cleaning Robot Models and How to Choose

The solar panel cleaning robot you need is set by the plant, not by the spec sheet. Start with inclination: the SR203 holds 30 degrees and the ASR102 stops at 10, so terrain decides the shortlist. Then look at total weight - two brushes add 9 kg - and at obstacle crossing, which runs from 200 mm on the single-brush machines to 400 mm on the SR203.

  • Flat ground, no operator on site: the ASR102, with RTK navigation, night operation and a charging station.
  • Flat or 15 degree arrays, one operator: the SR102 as the balanced pick at 1500 m²/h and 32.5 kg.
  • Sloped arrays up to 20 degrees where throughput matters: the SR103 at 2000 m²/h.
  • Wide module rows or a 300 mm frame gap: the SR202, with twin 1.2 m brushes.
  • Steep 30 degree terrain with wide rows: the SR203, with twin 1.4 m brushes and 2000 m²/h.

Remote Cleaning Without a Remote Range Problem

All four remote-operated models are controlled from 300 m and the controller runs 10 to 15 hours on a charge, so one operator can cover a whole block. The controller is single-hand and the machine offers ten cruise speed steps, which is what makes a slow careful pass and a fast production pass the same machine.

Wet Cleaning Has a Temperature Floor

The four SR models support both wet and dry cleaning, but wet cleaning is unavailable at or below 0 ℃ - the water would freeze on the glass. In a cold climate the SR series runs in dry mode through the winter and wet mode for the rest of the year.

Wet cleaning is unavailable at or below 0 °C on the remote-operated models.

ASR102 is the only model that runs unattended; it navigates by RTK and returns to its charging station.
