Portable Power Stations
Capacity, run time, pass-through charging and outputs on the GPP range.
How long will a 1 kWh portable power station run a fridge?
A SiRay GPP-1000 holds 1004.8 Wh of LiFePO4 capacity. Running a 100 W camping fridge, the GPP-1000 supplies it for about 8 hours on battery alone. With 300 W of solar input connected, the fridge runs through daylight while the pack recharges.
Can a portable power station charge while it is powering devices?
Yes. All three SiRay GPP models support pass-through charging. The GPP-1000 accepts 500 W from mains AC or 300 W from solar, the GPP-2000 accepts 800 W AC or 550 W solar, and the GPP-4000 accepts up to 1200 W solar over an 18-110 V input window while continuing to supply the AC outlets.
What is the difference between the GPP-1000, GPP-2000 and GPP-4000?
The GPP-1000 stores 1004.8 Wh and outputs 500 W AC at 10.5 kg. The GPP-2000 stores 2009.6 Wh and outputs 1000 W across two AC outlets at 18.5 kg. The GPP-4000 stores 4019.2 Wh and outputs 1800 W with UPS transfer switching. All three use LiFePO4 cells and provide USB-C PD 20 W and USB-A QC 20 W.
What can a 1800 W portable power station run?
The SiRay GPP-4000 delivers 1800 W of pure sine wave AC at 230 V, which covers a kettle, a microwave, power tools and a refrigerator running at the same time. It stores 4019.2 Wh, so it runs a 100 W fridge for roughly 32 hours, or a 1800 W kettle for about two hours.
How heavy is a 2 kWh portable power station?
The SiRay GPP-2000 weighs 18.5 kg and measures 260 x 267 x 260 mm, in a cube format with a carry handle. The smaller GPP-1000 weighs 10.5 kg.
What outputs does a SiRay portable power station have?
Every SiRay GPP model provides pure sine wave 230 V AC outlets (one on the GPP-1000, two on the GPP-2000), four 12 V DC 5521 ports at 4 A each, USB-C with 20 W Power Delivery and USB-A with 20 W Quick Charge.
Home, Low Voltage and High Voltage Batteries
Cycle life, sizing, stacking, inverter matching and efficiency.
How many cycles does a LiFePO4 home battery last?
SiRay residential battery modules are rated for more than 6000 cycles at 0.5C, 90% depth of discharge and 25 ℃, with a 15-year design life. The SNE-ES F30 and SNE-ES F32 use an 8000-cycle cell. The GLC-261 liquid-cooled cabinet is rated 8000 cycles to 70% end of life.
What size home battery do I need?
A home that runs lighting, refrigeration and electronics overnight typically needs 5 to 10 kWh of usable capacity - in the SiRay range, an SNE-ES SW5.0 (5.1 kWh), a GLR-100 (5.12 kWh) or a GHA-5000 (5120 Wh). A home that also runs air conditioning, a pool pump or a well pump overnight needs 10 to 16 kWh - a GHA-10000 (10547 Wh) or a GHA-16000 (16077 Wh). A home with no utility connection needs multi-day autonomy, which means stacking GLR modules to 30 kWh or more.
Can I add more battery capacity later?
Yes, if you choose a stackable model. SiRay GLR-200 and GLR-314 accept 2 to 16 modules, taking the bank from 21 kWh to 168 kWh (GLR-200) or from 32.15 kWh to 257.22 kWh (GLR-314) without changing the footprint. High-voltage GHR and GHS strings accept 3 to 15 modules. The SNE-ES wall units parallel up to 16 units for 81.6 or 168 kWh.
Which inverters work with SiRay low-voltage batteries?
SiRay 51.2 V low-voltage modules communicate over RS485, RS232 and CAN and are matched to Growatt, Solis, GoodWe, Sol-Ark, SRNE and DEYE inverters. SiRay recommends confirming the specific inverter model before ordering.
Can SiRay batteries be used off-grid?
Yes. The GHA-10000 (10547 Wh) and GHA-16000 (16077 Wh) all-in-one towers contain a 6200 W hybrid inverter and 6000 W MPPT PV input and are built to run a home with no utility connection. For larger off-grid sites, GLR low-voltage stacks or containerized ESS pair with a genset in a SiRay microgrid.
What is the round-trip efficiency of a SiRay wall battery?
The SNE-ES SW5.0 and SNE-ES SW10.0 wall-mounted batteries are rated at more than 97.5% round-trip efficiency, with 150 A maximum charge and discharge current and 10.2 kW peak output for 10 seconds on the SW10.0.
C&I and Containerized Energy Storage
Peak shaving, cabinet differences, outdoor installation, container contents and temperature limits.
What is peak shaving and how much can it save?
Peak shaving uses a battery to discharge during the site's highest-demand window and recharge when the tariff is low, which caps the monthly kW peak that drives the demand charge. A SiRay GCB-E100 (112.53 kWh at 50 kW) or GCB-E240 (241.15 kWh at 125 kW) performs this automatically through its integrated three-phase hybrid PCS. The saved amount depends on the load profile and tariff, so SiRay sizes from twelve months of interval load data.
What is the difference between the GCB-E100, GCB-E240 and GLC-261 cabinets?
The GCB-E100 stores 112.53 kWh with an integrated 50 kW three-phase PCS and air cooling. The GCB-E240 stores 241.15 kWh with a 125 kW PCS and air cooling. The GLC-261 stores 261 kWh at 832 V, uses liquid cooling with a 50:50 ethylene glycol solution that holds cell temperature spread below 3 ℃, and is rated 8000 cycles to 70% end of life. All three are IP54; the GCB cabinets carry an integrated fire protection system and the GLC-261 uses aerosol suppression.
Can a C&I storage cabinet be installed outdoors?
Yes. All three SiRay C&I cabinets are IP54 and designed for outdoor installation on a slab. The GCB-E100 measures 1200 x 803 x 2375 mm and weighs 1300 kg, operates from -20 to 50 ℃, below 2000 m altitude, and runs at 90% or higher system efficiency.
What comes in a containerized energy storage system from SiRay?
The ESS-1M2-20FT delivers 1.2 MWh at 768 V from 75 modules of 51.2 V 314 Ah in a standard 20-foot container measuring 6058 x 2438 x 2896 mm and weighing 16 tonnes. The ESS-2M4-40FT delivers 2.411 MWh from 150 modules in a 40-foot container. Both include air cooling, fire detection and suppression, CANBUS and Modbus TCP/IP communication, 90% depth of discharge and 96% system efficiency, with a design life above 15 years.
How long does it take to deploy a containerized ESS?
A SiRay container ships wired and factory-tested, so on-site work is limited to a foundation, cable termination and a SCADA handshake. SiRay does not publish a fixed number of days because foundation and port clearance vary by country; the containerized design exists specifically to avoid the civil works that a built-on-site plant requires.
What is the operating temperature range of SiRay storage cabinets?
SiRay C&I cabinets operate from -20 to 50 ℃. The residential GLR and GHR modules charge from 0 to 55 ℃ and discharge from -20 to 60 ℃. The ESS containers operate from 0 to 50 ℃. All outdoor cabinets are rated below 2000 m altitude.
Mobile EV Charging and the Charging Robot
What a mobile charger is, how many vehicles it serves, connectors and the self-driving unit.
What is a mobile EV charger?
A mobile EV charger is a battery pack, a DC charger and a wheeled chassis in one unit, so it can charge a vehicle at full DC power without a grid connection at the charging point. SiRay mobile chargers carry 75 to 416 kWh of LiFePO4 and deliver 60 to 240 kW DC at 200-1000 V through GB/T, CCS1, CCS2 or CHAdeMO connectors.
How many vehicles can a mobile EV charger charge before it needs recharging?
A SiRay X7560 with 75 kWh can deliver roughly one full charge to a 60 kWh vehicle plus reserve. The X416240 with 416 kWh can deliver about six such charges. The X416240 recharges at 80 kW on three-phase AC or from any compatible DC charger; the X10090 recharges at 20 kW on three-phase AC.
Does a mobile EV charger need a grid connection?
No. The battery inside the unit supplies the DC power, so the charging point needs no grid supply and no transformer. Ground preparation at the charging point depends on the site and the mounting. The unit itself recharges later from a standard three-phase AC supply or from another DC charger. The exception is the G2V-30160, a portable DC charger with no battery that requires a three-phase grid input.
What is the difference between the X200120 and the X416240?
The X200120 carries 200 kWh and delivers 120 kW across twin DC guns plus onboard AC output, so it can charge two vehicles at once, or one vehicle and site equipment at the same time. The X416240 carries 416 kWh and delivers 240 kW across twin guns with no AC output, and is built as fleet-scale reserve capacity that moves between depots.
How does the SiRay charging robot work?
The Y10090 is a 100 kWh, 90 kW DC charger on a self-driving rear-wheel-drive chassis with a 3 kW drive motor. It moves at 1 to 15 km/h with a 2.5 m minimum turning radius, climbs a 20% grade at full load, parks on a 25% slope and holds position with an electronic parking brake. It drives to the parked vehicle instead of the vehicle driving to the charger.
What connectors do SiRay EV chargers support?
Every SiRay DC charger supports GB/T, CCS1, CCS2 or CHAdeMO, selected at order, with a 5 m cable on the Y10090 robot and 7 m on the others. All units output 200-1000 V DC and speak OCPP 1.6J. The EV208-120 additionally supports RFID, VPOS and bank card payment.
Microgrids and Solutions
How a solar-storage-diesel microgrid works, what it saves and what SiRay needs to size one.
What is a solar-storage-diesel microgrid?
A solar-storage-diesel microgrid is a small-scale generation and distribution system that combines photovoltaic arrays, battery energy storage and diesel generators under one Energy Management System. It runs independently in island mode or in parallel with the utility grid, switches between sources automatically and can black-start the site after a full blackout.
How much diesel can a microgrid save?
A SiRay solar-storage-diesel microgrid reduces diesel fuel consumption by 30-60% through PV-priority dispatch, where solar serves the load first and the genset runs only to cover the gap. In the tropical island resort project SiRay delivered in Southeast Asia, measured diesel consumption fell by 50-70% against the previous diesel-only setup.
What are the three operating modes of a SiRay microgrid?
Mode A is PV plus diesel, where the genset forms the grid and solar cuts fuel - best for minimal storage investment. Mode B is PV plus diesel plus storage, where the genset anchors the grid and the battery absorbs surplus PV - best for moderate renewable penetration. Mode C is PV plus storage plus diesel, where the battery forms the grid and the genset starts only below a state-of-charge threshold - best for maximum fuel savings and minimum emissions.
Can a microgrid run without any grid connection?
Yes. SiRay microgrids are designed for island mode, in which the system forms its own voltage and frequency through a grid-forming PCS or genset. They also provide black-start, restarting the site after a complete blackout without any external supply.
What does SiRay need to size a microgrid?
SiRay needs the site's load profile (what must run, at what power, for how long), the grid situation (no grid, weak grid or stable grid), the site location and solar resource, and any existing generation. From that data SiRay simulates PV yield, battery dispatch and fuel saved, then returns a quotation with a bill of materials.
Ordering and Logistics
How to request a quote, which markets SiRay serves and what delivery includes.
How do I request a quote from SiRay Energy?
Send your load profile, site conditions and target capacity through the form on sirayenergy.com/contact/ or by email to service@sirayenergy.com. An SiRay engineer replies within one business day with a sizing proposal and quotation.
What warranty does SiRay Energy provide?
Five years is the baseline warranty term on SiRay equipment, counted from delivery or commissioning as stated in your order. It covers manufacturing defects across the battery, power conversion and enclosure under the operating conditions set out in the product manual. Longer coverage can be quoted with the project, so tell us the term you need.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. SiRay Energy sets no minimum order quantity, so a single unit can be quoted and shipped. Unit price and freight both improve with volume, so state the quantity you need and we will quote the full landed cost.
What is the lead time for an order?
Lead time depends on the quantity ordered. Single units and standard configurations ship first, while containerized systems and larger volumes are built to order. We state a firm lead time in writing with the quotation, once we know the model, the quantity and the destination port.
Which markets does SiRay Energy serve?
SiRay Energy serves Southeast Asia, Africa and Russian-speaking markets, focusing on sites where the grid is absent, weak or too expensive to extend. Equipment ships from Suzhou, China.
Does SiRay provide installation and commissioning?
Yes. SiRay delivers projects from feasibility through sizing, containerized build, shipping, commissioning and operator training, then provides remote monitoring and maintenance through vEMS 2.0.
